Day 01 :Arrive Paro International Airport

During the journey, one will experience breath taking view of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Chomolhari and Mount Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by representatives of Expert Tibet Tours. who will escort you to the Hotel in Paro.

Day 02 : Paro - Sightseeing

Drive the winding road northwest up the Pa-Chu to Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined Fortress which once defended this valley from Tibetan invasion. This Dzong was built in the 17th century by Shabdrung Nawang Namgyel, the spiritual leader of Bhutan.

On a clear day one can view Mt. Jumolhari the sacred Mountain. On the way back we visit one of the Typical Bhutanese farm house. After lunch at the hotel, we drive to Ta-Dzong which was once the watch tower for Paro valley, now it houses the National Museum and then walk down hill pass the Paro Dzong and crossing the typical traditional roofed bridge to Paro town.

Day 03 :Paro to Shana (2,820 m) 5-6hours trek

After having breakfast, checking out from Hotel and drive to starting point and there, we will have little religious ceremonies for good fortune and to get blessing from local deities to have very successful trip. The trek to Shana starts from Drukgyal Dzong following the Paro River gently and we pass through the cultivated fields and tiny picturesque villages. The forests are alive with numerous birds and brightly colored butterflies. (Overnight at tented camp on full board basis)

Day 04 :Shana to Thangthangka, (3610m) 7-8 hours trek

The trail follows the river through a heavily forested area with a few isolated farmhouses. It narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the drainage. We pass a junction en-route, where another path leads north over the Tremo La to Tibet. Camp is in a meadow with a stone shelter. (Overnight at tented camp on full board basis)

Day 05 : Thangthangka to Jangothang (4,115m) 5-6 hours trek.

We will continue the Pa Chhu River and after passing a small army post, the trail slowly leaves the forest line and gradually climbs into a beautiful valley, passing Tegethang, a winter home of yak herdsmen. Lunch will be served in one of these huts. Lots of yaks will be seen today before we arrive at the Jhomolhari base camp (4,115 m). High mountains overlook the camp and visible nearby are the ruins of an old fortress used to guard Bhutan against Tibetan invasions. (Overnight at tented camp on full board basis)

Day 06 :Jangothang (Halt).

Today is a rest day, a chance to acclimatize and walk up to the Jhomolhari glacier or to the lakes in the opposite direction. (Overnight at tented camp on full board basis)

Day 07 : Jangothang to Lingshi (4,150m) 6-7 trek.

Today will be the finest day for trek with great views of the Mountain Jhomolhari, Jichu Drake and the Tserim Gang, start climbing straight away and after 3 to 4 hours reaches the Nyelela pass (4,700m). After this pass, we descend to a circular hut just below Lingshi, where we camp. Coming down from Lingshi we obtain our first views of the truly mystical Dzong atop a high hill. Day 08 :Lingshi to Shodu(3,963m) 6-7 hours trek.

The trail ascends up to the Yalila pass (4,820-m), from here will view Mountain Jhomolhari, Jichu Drake, Tserim Gang and Khangbum can be seen on a clear day. After the pass we descend to Shodu. Today is a fairly long day. (Overnight at tented camp on full board basis)

Day 09 : Shodu to Barshong (3,610m) 6 - 7 hours trek

Starting at Shodu (4110m) and camp at Barshong (3680 m) Todays trial winds up and down following the Thimphu Chhu and crossing it six times. A final climb for about an hour walk will bring you to Barshong. Camp just below the ruins of a small Dzong.

Day 10 : Barshong to Dodina (Thimpu) 8 - 9 hours trek end.

Today, will be long day, we descend down along the Thimphu Chu crossing forests of rhododendrons and green meadows. Our trail follows the river until we emerge at Dodina in Thimpu, where The Bhutan Travel's representative will be waiting for our reception and then drive to Capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu. Dinner will be served with Bhutanese cultural program. (Overnight at full board on full board basis)

Day 11 : Transfer from Thimphu to Paro.

The day begins with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten built in honour of our late third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk and the Dupthop Lhakhang, one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. We then drive to the view point of Tashichho Dzong, seat of the national government and summer residence of the Central Monastic Body, including Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan) and visit to National Library House, Folk Heritage museum and Painting School, where traditional art is still kept alive through instructions in the art of painting Thangkas (sacred Buddhist religious scrolls). Stop for lunch, and there after visit to Bhutanese Paper factory, weaving center, textile museums and then to Handicrafts Emporium and shopping for souvenirs in the shops of Thimphu. In the early evening drive to Paro. (Overnight at full board on full board basis)

Day 12 :Departure to your onward destination.

The Final day, you will have departure from Paro to your destination place (You could go back to Nepal or any other countries). The hotel staffs will drop you to the Paro airport by privet Car/Van/Hiace.
